Withdrawing your earnings from Deel to GrabrFi is one of the most cost-effective ways to manage your USD. Since GrabrFi provides you with a US-based checking account, you can use Deel’s "Local Bank Transfer" (ACH) to receive your funds quickly and with minimal fees.
Prerequisites
Verified Deel Account: Ensure your identity verification is complete on Deel.
GrabrFi Account Details: Have your Routing Number and Account Number ready. You can find these in the GrabrFi app under the "Transfers" tab by selecting "Receive via ACH."
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1: Navigate to Withdrawal Methods
Log in to your Deel account. In the left-hand sidebar menu, click on the Finance icon and select Withdrawal Methods.
Note: Deel recently moved this from "Settings" to the "Finance" section.
Step 2: Add a New Method
Click the Add Method button. From the list of available options, select Bank Transfer.
Step 3: Set the Destination to the United States
To use GrabrFi's local banking rails, you must select United States as the destination country and USD as the currency, then select ACH as Method option. This ensures the transfer is processed via ACH (local) rather than SWIFT (international), which is much more expensive.
Step 4: Enter Your GrabrFi Details
Fill in the following details exactly as they appear in your GrabrFi app:
Account Type: Select Personal and then Checking.
Account Number: Your 12-digit GrabrFi account number.
Routing Number: Your 9-digit ABA/ACH routing number.
Full Name: This must match the name on your Deel profile exactly.
Address: You must provide a US billing address linked to your GrabrFi account. You can add a secondary billing address in your account settings (see more about this here). If you do not reside in the US and do not have an additional US address, you may use Regent Bank’s address, you may use Regent Bank’s address: 7136 S. Yale Ave., Ste 100, Tulsa, OK 74136, US
Step 5: Verification & Confirmation
Deel will prompt you to enter a 2FA (Two-Factor Authentication) code sent to your email or authenticator app. Once confirmed, your GrabrFi account is linked!
Fees and Processing Times
Transfer Type | Fee (Deel) | Fee (GrabrFi) | ETA |
Local ACH Transfer | $5 USD (Cross-border) | $0 (Free) | 1–3 Business Days |
Instant Card Transfer | 2% (Max $15) | $0 (Free) | ~15 Seconds |
Pro Tip: If you have a GrabrFi Mastercard, you can also use Instant Card Transfer on Deel. It is faster (instant) but has a higher Deel fee compared to the flat $5 ACH fee.
Common Troubleshooting (Why your transfer might fail)
Name Mismatch: Deel requires the name on the bank account to match your Deel profile name. If you use a nickname on Deel but your legal name on GrabrFi, the transfer will be rejected.
Wrong Routing Number: Ensure you are using the ACH Routing Number, not the Domestic Wire or SWIFT number.
Address Verification: Make sure the billing address you enter is a valid US address and matches the one linked to your GrabrFi account. If the address does not match, the transfer may be rejected. If you do not have a US address, you can use Regent Bank’s address as your billing address.
Why use GrabrFi with Deel?
$50 Bonus: If you are a new GrabrFi user, remember to enter "DEEL" as your referral code during signup. If you withdraw at least $2,500 within your first 3 months, you may be eligible for a $50 USD bonus (check current terms in the app).
No receiving fees: Unlike many local banks, GrabrFi does not charge you to receive ACH transfers.
Save on FX: Keep your money in USD and avoid the 2-5% currency conversion spread charged by local banks.
Easy Access: Spend your Deel earnings immediately using the GrabrFi debit card or transfer to your local bank only when the exchange rate is favorable.
