What is changing with your account features

Table of Contents

Most of what you use today works the same way after the upgrade. A few things change, and a few are coming later.

Better after the upgrade

  • Faster transfers. Digital dollar transfers arrive in minutes, around the clock, including weekends and holidays.

  • Earn on your balance. You can activate Boost and earn 2.57% a year on your balance, with no lock-ups and no minimums.

  • A card for more countries. The global card is available in more countries than the card it replaces.

  • Higher incoming limits. Incoming ACH and wire transfers have higher per-transfer limits.

Changing

  • Card spending limit. Your daily card spending limit is $2,000.

  • Card network. Your new card is a Visa, issued by Lead Bank, instead of a Mastercard.

  • ATM withdrawals. Cash withdrawals at ATMs are not available with the global card.

Coming later

  • Physical card. A physical global card is coming. We are improving how it is delivered, and we will share the details when it is available.

  • Apple Pay and Google Pay. You will be able to pay with your phone in most countries, though not in Bolivia or Nigeria.

  • International (SWIFT) transfers. Not available at launch. We will let you know when they return.

  • Transfer to Anyone. Sending money by a shareable link to someone who does not have GrabrFi yet is paused during the upgrade. We will turn it back on afterwards.

Unchanged

  • Your app and login. Same app, same login, same GrabrFi account.

  • Local currency withdrawals and top-ups. Same countries, same limits.

  • QR payments. Pay by QR code in the countries where it is available, the same as today.

  • Receiving ACH and wire transfers. Same as today, with your new account details.

  • Sending and receiving transfers between GrabrFi users.

  • Monthly statements and proof of account. You will be able to download them from your global account screen.
