You can add money in US dollars to your GrabrFi account by paying with local currency in Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Mexico, and Nigeria. This guide explains how to top up, how long it takes, the limits, and the terms that apply.
1. How to make a top up
Open your GrabrFi app or log in through the website
Select in your Home screen the Add money section.
Select Top up with local currency for your country.
Enter the amount you want to top up, complete the steps shown and make the payment.
Once processed, your account balance will be credited in USD.
2. How long does it take for the top up to complete?
Top ups are usually added to your GrabrFi account the same business day after the payment is completed. The exact time depends on your local bank or payment partner.

Maximum per top-up: USD 1,000
Daily maximum: USD 1,000
Monthly maximum: USD 15,000
Yearly maximum: USD 180,000
4. Supported payment methods
Argentina: Most Argentinian bank accounts via QR, Modo and Mercado Pago.
Colombia: Most Colombian bank accounts.
Brazil: PIX.
Mexico: Most Mexican bank accounts.
Nigeria: Most Nigerian bank accounts. For security, payments must be made from a bank account under your name. E-wallets including Pocket, Chipper Cash, Lemfi, Renmoney, Flutterwave, and betting websites are not supported for top ups.

Exchange rate: The rate shown at the moment of your request applies. It includes taxes and fees. Rates may vary.
Payment expiration: If your local payment is not received on time, the request may be canceled. Refunds will reflect any applicable deductions.
Security: All top-ups must be confirmed through multi-factor authentication (MFA).
