How to Convert Between USD and Stablecoins

You can move funds between your USD checking account and your stablecoin wallet at any time. Conversions involve transferring USD via ACH and converting between USD and your wallet currency (USDB or USDC).

Convert USD to stablecoins (checking to wallet)

Step 1. Open the GrabrFi app and go to your stablecoin wallet.

Step 2. Tap "Add funds" and select the "Between account and wallets" option.

Step 3. Enter the amount in USD you want to convert.

Step 4. Review the conversion details, including the fee (0.8% of the amount).

Step 5. Confirm the conversion.

Your USD will be transferred via ACH from your checking account and converted to stablecoins. The stablecoin amount will be credited to your wallet, typically within the same business day.

Convert stablecoins to USD (wallet to checking)

Step 1. Open the GrabrFi app and go to your stablecoin wallet.

Step 2. Tap "Transfers" and select the "Between account and wallets" option.

Step 3. Enter the amount in stablecoins you want to convert.

Step 4. Review the conversion details, including the fee (1% + $1).

Step 5. Confirm the conversion.

Your stablecoins will be converted to USD and transferred via ACH to your checking account, typically within the same business day.

Processing times

• Conversions are processed via the ACH network.

• On business days (Monday through Friday, excluding US bank holidays), conversions typically complete the same day.

• Conversions initiated on weekends or US bank holidays are processed on the next business day.

Important: Conversions are not instant. They go through the ACH network, which requires banking hours to process. If you need to send stablecoins quickly, keep a balance in your wallet.

Tracking your conversion

You can track the status of your conversion from the home screen. The transfer will show as pending until the ACH transfer completes and the conversion is finalized.
