I cannot verify my phone number

When setting up your GrabrFi profile, we'll ask you to verify your phone number. Here are a few tips to help you complete this step:

  • Make sure you entered your phone number correctly

  • Make sure you entered your phone number in an international format, starting with country code*

*When entering a phone number in an international format, start with a plus sign (+). Then, write the country code, followed by the full phone number. For example, the United States number 123-4567 in area code 408 would be written as +14081234567. (1 is the country code). Make sure to remove any leading zeros or any special calling codes.

As we are unable to send SMS to landlines, a mobile number is required to create a GrabrFi account.

How you'll receive verification codes

GrabrFi sends one-time verification codes (OTPs) for phone verification through multiple channels. You can select the preferred channel:

  • WhatsApp. If you have WhatsApp installed and linked to the number you are trying to verify, this is often the fastest and most reliable way to receive your verification code.

  • SMS. If you prefer not to use WhatsApp, you can choose to receive your code via SMS instead.
