How can I close my account?

Steps to close your account

1. Make sure your balance is $0

You can transfer out any remaining money in your GrabrFi account by:

  • Sending an ACH or wire transfer to a US bank account or platform

  • Withdrawing to local currency in-app (available in Brazil and Argentina) or with a third-party service

2. Send a close account request to support

Open GrabrFi and go to More > Settings > Request to close account.

Your phone or browser will open a prewritten email. Simply click send and we'll review your request.

3. Closing your account

After reviewing your request, if your account balance is $0 and there are no pending actions, we'll arrange to close your account with our banking partner.

Note: you may still have access to your GrabrFi account while your account is closed. Under US law (C.F.R. § 103.121(b)(3)(ii) – Retention of records), we're required to keep customer information for 5 years after the account is closed.
